Plume Zoom #2

Here is the next edition of the Plume Zoom bird ID quiz. This was a tricky ID for me this weekend.

    Pine Siskin? That was just my first inclination, but I didn't use the book to see if they actually have that marking over the eye. I like your quizzes! By the way, how are your baking and holiday cards coming along? Will you post the finished product?

    I'll have to say Female Purple Finch. It's the eyebrow that makes me say that.

    I'll say Female Purple Finch too (based on the eyebrow and also how she's got the feathers on top of her head fluffed up)

    I'll guess purple finch also, though I haven't seen one in person, it looks like some of the pictures.
