Bird haiku

Tree dripping crimson
Cardinals
Stately, beautiful

Grackles clot the sky
They chatter
Creaky garden gates

I like this! Geat pictures and poetry! We don't have cardinals here so we really think they're special.

I am amazed at all the cardinals!! I don't think I have ever seen more than a couple at a time, and here, you hundreds! Okay, half a dozen!!!

I'm amazed by all the cardinals too! As a western birder I was thrilled to see two or three in western New York earlier this month. I can only imagine trees dripping with crimson as you've so beautifully captured!
