Weekend cute post

For those who asked about the wily chipmunk in my "I see you!" post from a few days ago, here's some proof that he made it up onto the feeder. Behold...

All he had to do was figure out how to get onto it from up above!

Then he proceeded to fill his cheeks with seeds!

Most chipmunks I have encountered don't really seem to be too afraid of humans. This little guy was no exception, so I was able to get relatively close with my 200mm zoom lens to get these portraits...

"Which is better, my left side....

... or my right side?"

In this picture he's either sneezing or practicing for the next headbanger's ball...

And this is his Ranger Rick cover shot!

Hope everyone has a safe and fun Labor Day weekend!

Oh, I love the sunset picture Heather, so pretty.

LoL! Very cute posting. It sure was a busy little think. It will have plenty of your birdseed put away for winter. That is one shook up chipmunk. Reminds me of the Chipmunk cartoons of Chip and Dale . Then again you are probably too young to remember them ;-) The last picture is so great.

Michele, Frank - Thanks!

Lona - Thanks for your comments. I DO remember Chip and Dale, but I bet this little guy is 3 times as naughty as they were!

Crista - Something tells me if you tried to raise a chipmunk it would end up destroying your house... Bad Crista, indeed!

Kathie - Thanks, I changed things up a couple of months back, switching to the Minima Stretch template in order to leave more room for the photos. Glad you like it!

Linda - Thanks so much for stopping by. Glad you liked the photos!

Ruthie - Even though this particular chipmunk was not at our house, they don't seem to pay too much attention to the chipmunks here at home. However, they were on the scent trail of one just today, but they couldn't get to it because it was hiding under the birdbath, which is in the garden, which is off-limits to the dogs. D'oh!
