Settling in

Just got back from our trip to Michigan. In a word, it was lovely. I was sad to leave, but it's always good to be home. Good to see the dogs. Good to see the garden. Good to see our woods. In the words of my newly purchased t-shirt, "Life is good." (There's a Life is Good store in Petoskey that I always visit when we head up north).

Lots of photos to sort through, and then there's the business of figuring out how to craft the posts from the photos. And also the business of getting caught up with all of you and your blogs, and getting caught up with your comments! I missed you all while I was gone!

So bear with me if posting is slow for a little while, as I get settled in and get back in the groove. For the time being, I leave you with a Michigan sunset.

Nice waterfowl image. This reminds me of a shot I took back in early June but never posted. I'm off to find that shot!

Your last photo was my favorite!! Sounds like you had a great trip! So glad you stopped by!!
P.S. Scout kept taking Marvin's mouses away from him (the ones you bought him!) I had to settle those 2 down - lol!!!

Tom - Thank you, glad you liked it. I have a few more that I'll post eventually. I look forward to seeing your image!

Crista, Kelly - Thanks, it's good to be home.

Shelley - Too bad that last photo couldn't be of your Loons! It was so good to meet you and Greg and Scout (and Marvin, even though he stayed in your room the whole time!). Shame on Scout for taking Marvin's toys! I'm sure Marvin set her straight for that move!
