Bad birdy manners

I was looking through my archives of bird photos from past winters, and came across this one from December of last year. This is what happens when the snow flies and the birds go into "mob the feeder" mode - tempers are bound to flare. This is NOT an example of the polite dinner conversation I referred to in my write up of the Evening Symphony a few weeks back.

Like us humans staking our place in the parking lot of the mall, or our place in line. This is why I avoid sales. I don't want some finch screaming at me! That was a great photo.

Maybe they're saying "Here come the Boys. How's my breath?"

Looks to me like they are arguing over a new empty feeder box. or maybe what color it should be,bare wood will not last long out doors.
and what A good capture of the moment, well worth bringing back out of the archives,

Thank you for your comments, everyone. Glad you enjoyed this moment of drama from our bird feeders. I think this is what reality television would look like if it were birdy-style!
