Reminders...

The next installment in my collage series is an ode to last summer's blossoms. Even amidst the promise of new life blooming all around, these remnants of last year's flowers continue to catch my eye. They lend a certain architectural air to the field which they encircle.

Featured in this collage: Teasel, Queen Anne's Lace, and possibly Goldenrod(?)

Very clever idea in monochrome. Seed heads provide great architectural structure in the garden & beyond.

I love what you did with this! This would make such a pretty card!

...I love the black and white, and I know what you mean. Every time I look at the seed pods and withered flowers I see their beauty. I like how you put these together.

I really like that one. It would make a great print, postcard or greeting card. I also just posted a collage. They are fun, huh?

Frank - Thanks, somehow all these pictures were just shouting out to be turned into black and white.

Shelley - Thank you, I might consider printing it and hanging it somewhere in the house.

Kelly - Glad you are entranced by the "old" flowers, too!

Kallen and Ginnymo - Thank you, it was great fun to put together.

Michele - Thanks. Yes, they are fun. I'll come over and check out your collage!
